Since I'll be guiding you through the whole elopement planning process, let's get to know each other
Hi friend. I'm Jo, a Charlotte, NC resident, cat mom, adventurer through and through, and a lover of love. I grew up in Wilmington, NC and lived 10 minutes from the beach for the first 22 years of my life, however, my heart belongs to the mountains. My love for the mountains makes scouting for new, beautiful locations for you to say "I do" at one of my favorite pass times.

01. SHOULD YOU ELOPE?
If you're asking yourselves this, the answer is probably "yes!" Whether it's because you're overwhelmed by the wedding planning process, financials, being in the spotlight in front of countless guests, or simply because eloping just feels right.
02. PICK A LOCATION
I will help you pick a location if you don't already have one in mind! Once you've booked with me, I will send you my location guide. This goes over location options and any logistics you should know about each location. My location guide covers Asheville, along with other locations outside of Asheville in Western NC and Eastern TN.
03. SEASON & TIMELINE
If you do not already have a date or season in mind, I will help guide you through choosing the best option for you! Once we have a date and location secured, I will make a timeline for our time together!
04. GUEST LIST
No guests or 15, it's all up to you! If needed, I will help you determine appropriate locations for however many people may be on your guest list.
05. LOGISTICS
I can assist you in navigating permits, restrictions, etc., along with finding other vendors needed like officiants and videographers! Some locations also require hiking or a vehicle with 4X4, this information is covered in my location guide, however, if you choose a location not covered in my guide, I will assist you in finding this information.
06. LET'S GET YOU MARRIED!
My goal for your elopement is for you to be as stress free as possible so you can enjoy your day to the fullest! I am so excited to document your day and help you celebrate an amazing new chapter in your lives together.

Many of the insanely beautiful locations my couples choose to elope at are protected lands. Respecting these lands, our environment, and the regulations put in place is non-negotiable. Throughout our time together, you will also hear me talk about the 7 principles of “Leave No Trace” quite often. While not all of these will apply to us during our time together, please feel free to make yourself familiar with the 7 principles above and ask me any questions you may have!
FAQ
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
I cover all of North Carolina, and Eastern TN without travel fees! Locations farther away may be subject to travel fees.
What if we want something more extreme for our elopement?
We can absolutely make that happen! If safety is a concern, hiring a guide may be required.
We want to include our dog into the elopement ceremony and photos, is that okay?
Of course! Dogs may not be allowed at certain locations, so if you would like to include your dog in your elopement, the sooner I know the better!
How long does it take to recieve the photos after the elopement and how will those be delivered?
All elopement galleries are returned no later than 8 weeks after your elopement.
Do we need a wedding officiant for our elopement? If yes, can you recommend one?
Yes, you will need an officiant. I have a few that I can recommend if needed!
What if we legally don’t get married on our elopement day?
This is your day and it is totally up to you! Whether you're wanting to get married at the courthouse before, have a commitment ceremony, or even renew your vows, there is no right or wrong way!
